The premiere of the new models of Peugeot Partner and twin Citroen Berlingo was watched closely. Especially when we learned that they will be available in 7-person, extended versions of the body.
Our current 7-passenger cars (Nissan Evalia and Citroen C4 Grand Picasso) will be withdrawn from the offer within the next few months - hence the search for worthy successors :)
The Golden Autumn of Podlasie meant that testing the car gave us a lot of pleasure. The new Peugeot Rifter has nothing to do with its predecessor, which was more a delivery vehicle with an attached row of seats than a passenger car. Rifter is a car definitely focused on family journeys, meeting all the requirements set for this type of car.
We liked:
👍 Space inside the car.
👍 A huge number of storage compartments and shelves.
👍 Quiet and flexible diesel engine.
👍 Well-tuned suspension.
👍 Joy for children in the form of a panoramic roof with an illuminated LED tunnel.
👍 'Tourist' equipment with elements such as a 230V socket, inductive charging of the phone or separately raised window in the tailgate.
We liked it less:
👎The dashboard could be finished with a little better quality material.
👎A multitude of buttons placed in various places - lacked intuitiveness.
👎Poor quality image from the reversing camera.
Summation:
Rifter, of course, can not compete with fashionable crossovers and SUVs in terms of the aesthetics of the body. However, in terms of practicality, it definitely dominates them. We liked it.
Will he join our fleet in the spring? Perhaps... :)
