The Jeep brand history began in 1940 when a small Willys company received a request from the US government for the production of 4x4 military vehicles. Introduced in 1941, Willys MB was quickly accepted and named one of the heroes of the Second World War, earning the nickname 'Jeep', which became the precursor of this class of cars. How does the Jeep look today?
We have received the Jeep Compass Limited version at our disposal. The car was designed in the style of its two larger 'brothers' Cherokee and Grand Cherokee. Such a procedure meant that the car will appeal to many people. Thanks to its dimensions, the SUV ideally finds itself in the urban thicket, and thanks to the 4x4 drive it can cope well with winter rides in the field. The engine with a capacity of 1.4 l and 170 hp in combination with a 9-speed automatic transmission, satisfactorily copes with the dimensions of the car. However, for more demanding customers, we recommend a 2.0-liter diesel engine.
There will be passive and active security systems on board the Jeep - there are about 70 of them! They include, among others, active cruise control, collision warning system, lane assistant, 360 degree parking sensors, monitoring of cross traffic and many more. Adding to this a spacious interior made of high-quality materials, an intuitive multimedia system with a touch-screen display in the central part, fabric seats with a combination of ecological leather and other accessories make the small premium SUV ideal for those in need of comfort. The luggage compartment space is satisfactory, but for this segment the car could be larger. In everyday use it is satisfactory, but it will not allow large luggage to be taken by more people.
In our opinion, Jeep Compass is a car that will appeal to more than one demanding driver in the SUV segment of premium brands.
